The Browns look to shake off a loss at home to the Raiders last weekend as they head into San Diego to take on the Chargers.
The Cleveland Browns were a late drive away from tying their week three matchup with the Oakland Raiders but an interception by 18 year vet Charles Woodson sealed the win for the silver and black and left the Browns staring at a 1-2 record. Cleveland made the unwise move of starting Josh McCown in place of Johnny Manziel and it back fired as the veteran pivot was unable to get anything going offensively outside of a couple big gains from Barnidge and now the quarterbacking circus continues to build for the Browns who will likely stick with McCown on the road against the Chargers. Cleveland hasn't been able to do much on the offensive side of things but do still have a solid defense who will have to contend with Keenan Allen who has gone off in the first three weeks of the season.
San Diego will be looking to make a statement to the rest of the league that they are AFC contenders and while a win over the Browns at home is to be expected they will pull back to the .500 mark and keep pace with the others in the AFC West. The Chargers have had a tough schedule to start the season with their lone win coming against the Detroit Lions but things soften up a bit here and it should be a nice day for the Chargers offense despite Joe Haden looking for a rebound game after allowing Amari Cooper to gain over 100 yards last week. The Browns are in for a long season and while the Chargers have yet to turn on the gas I think they do it here in what should be one of very few gimmes on the schedule for them.
