The Falcons look to stay undefeated and continue to put up big points as they welcome the 1-2 Houston Texans to the Georgia Dome.
The Texans head into Georgia on Sunday looking to pull even on the season and they could get a huge boost if Arian Foster is a full go as he is expected to make his season debut which would be a massive upgrade to the Houston offense. The Texans continue to have a strong defense but their offense hasn't been able to keep up whether it is Brian Hoyer or Ryan Mallett behind center the offense has sputtered despite having some talented options down field. Houston needs to keep the ground game rolling whether it is Foster or Alfred Blue and if they can do that than Deandre Hopkins, Nate Washington, and Cecil Shorts present some great pass catching options and will help them keep pace with the high octane Atlanta offense.
The Falcons are 3-0 on the season and it has somewhat gone unnoticed as people still don't think they are legit Super Bowl contenders and while they may be in the running to win the NFC South I think there are still some glaring holes that need addressing before they can be considered a serious threat. Atlanta has ridden the ridiculous start of Julio Jones and as long as he is on the field the Atlanta offense should have no trouble moving the ball and his presence has enabled the Atlanta running game to get rolling as Devonta Freeman was a beast last weekend against the Giants. This should be an exciting game if Foster is a go and even if he can't I think Alfred Blue can fill in and put up a nice day in a game I see lighting up the scoreboard.
