The New York Jets and Miami Dolphins play Sunday morning at Wembley Stadium in London.
The New York Jets look for a big victory to get to a fast 3-1 start to the year. Ryan Fitzpatrick is completing 62.1 percent of his passes for 706 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions. Fitzpatrick has two or more touchdown passes in five of his last seven games. Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker have combined for 406 receiving yards and five touchdowns while Quincy Enunwa has six receptions. The New York Jets ground game is averaging 100.7 yards per contest, and Chris Ivory leads the way with 148 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, New York is allowing 13.7 points and 298.3 yards per game. David Harris leads the Jets with 25 tackles, Muhammad Wilkerson has 1.5 sacks and Marcus Williams has three pass deflections. Jeff Cumberland, Eric Decker and Trevor Reilly are questionable.
The Miami Dolphins need a victory after a rough 1-2 start to the year. Ryan Tannehill is completing 61.4 percent of his passes for 882 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions. Tannehill has a touchdown pass in seven straight games. Rishard Matthews and Jarvis Landry have combined for 492 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Jordan Cameron has 10 receptions. Reshad Jones leads the Dolphins with 32 tackles, Brent Grimes has three pass deflections and Jelani Jenkins has four tackles for loss. Branden Albert and Dion Sims are questionable.
The Jets are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in October and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Dolphins are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Jets are 23-9-1 ATS in their last 33 meetings.
These games over in London are always sloppy and tough to predict because the travel and time zone changes are brutal. However, the Dolphins need this win or there's going to be some serious changes moving forward. Miami had high expectations and they're not being met. Also, the Jets may have been exposed a bit last week.
I'll take the fish in a must-win, toss-up game.
