The Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys play Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium.
The Seattle Seahawks need this big road victory to get back to a .500 record. Russell Wilson is completing 69.6 percent of his passes for 1,668 yards, eight touchdowns and five interceptions. Wilson has one touchdown pass in each of his last five games. Jimmy Graham and Jermaine Kearse have combined for 713 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Doug Baldwin has 28 receptions. The Seattle Seahawks ground game is averaging 143.3 yards per contest, and Thomas Rawls leads the way with 366 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Seattle is allowing 18.3 points and 294.1 yards per game. K.J. Wright leads the Seahawks with 49 tackles, Michael Bennett has 6.5 sacks and Cliff Avril has four pass deflections. Paul Richardson, Demarcus Dobbs and Marcus Burley are questionable.
The Dallas Cowboys need a big victory here to climb out of a rough 2-4 start. Matt Cassel is completing 63 percent of his passes for 227 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. Cassel has 98 pass attempts since the 2014 season. Jason Witten and Terrance Williams have combined for 637 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Lance Dunbar has 21 receptions. The Dallas Cowboys ground game is averaging 127.7 yards per contest, and Joseph Randle leads the way with 315 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, Dallas is allowing 26.3 points and 339.3 yards per game. Sean Lee leads the Cowboys with 50 tackles, Greg Hardy has three sacks and Byron Jones has three pass deflections. Dez Bryant and Joseph Randle are questionable.
The Seahawks are 5-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The Cowboys are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. loss and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games. The Seahawks are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 meetings.
The Cowboys are still able to remain competitve due to its offensive line and solid defense, but the quarterback play has to improve. A return of Dez Bryant this week would help, but he remains questionable. The Seahawks are starting to play better but have lost three of their four games on the road this season.
I still like this Dallas team, it just needs to get something from the quarterback position. Either way, I'm taking the points in what should be a well played game by both sides.
