NFL Updates: News From Around the League, Week 12 Schedule and More
November 24, 2015
Week 11 is officially all finished up, so it’s time to start looking ahead to the big Week 12 games around the league. Let’s get started by checking out some of the notable headlines out there this morning.
Bills-Patriots Wrap-Up: The Patriots remained perfect on the year, snagging another victory over the Bills on “Monday Night Football.” New England took it 20-13 in a relatively subdued offensive game for them.
James White had a breakout game here, scoring twice. Danny Amendola also had nine grabs for 117 yards but sustained a knee injury.
This was a pretty wacky game, with a couple of botched referee calls that will be dissected in the coming days.
The Pats are up by five games in the division and could clinch as early as this week.

We probably wont’ get any fresh information on the Danny Amendola injury until tomorrow, as it wasn’t addressed in the post-game pressers. In addition to this issue, the Patriots receiving corps was also hit with an injury to Aaron Dobson (ankle), so they’re getting dangerously thin at that spot.
The Broncos (New England’s Week 12 opponent) have some WR issues of their own. Emmanuel Sanders is officially dealing with a high-ankle sprain, originally sustained in Week 9 against Indy.
Sanders was held out of Week 11, and the early indications seem to be that he’ll play against the Patriots. Fans will want to keep an eye on him this week in practice.
The Seahawks’ Marshawn Lynch has a very important doctor visit today. He’ll be getting his abdomen checked out to see if he needs season-ending sports-hernia surgery.
Thomas Rawls will get the bulk of the RB work if Lynch is out--which it’s looking like he will be--this Sunday.
It’ll be interesting to see what the Broncos do with Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler moving forward. Manning was at the doctor yesterday getting his foot looked at and has already been ruled out for Sunday.
The team is reportedly taking things week-by-week, so a large part of the starter decision will hinge on Manning’s overall health. Osweiler played well in relief in Week 11, leading the team to a victory over the Bears.
