The Line: Detroit Lions -2.5 -- Over/Under: 45.5 See the Latest Odds

The Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions square off Thanksgiving afternoon at Ford Field.

The Philadelphia Eagles are desperate for a win after losing three of their last four games. Mark Sanchez is completing 62.5 percent of his passes for 417 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions. Sanchez has 64 pass attempts in his last two games. Jordan Matthews and Zach Ertz have combined for 959 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Brent Celek has 18 receptions. The Philadelphia Eagles ground game is averaging 119.2 yards per contest, and DeMarco Murray leads the way with 515 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, Philadelphia is allowing 22.9 points and 374.4 yards per game. Malcolm Jenkins leads the Eagles with 67 tackles, Fletcher Cox has 5.5 sacks and Walter Thurmond III has three interceptions. Jason Kelce, Sam Bradford and Jason Peters are questionable.

The Detroit Lions look for an impressive third straight victory after starting the year with five straight losses. Matthew Stafford is completing 64.2 percent of his passes for 2,607 yards, 15 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Stafford has three passing touchdowns in his last three games. Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate have combined for 1,330 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Theo Riddick has 50 receptions. The Detroit Lions ground game is averaging 71.1 yards per contest, an Ameer Abdullah leads the way with 284 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Detroit is allowing 27.4 points and 367.2 yards per game. Stephen Tulloch leads the Lions with 70 tackles, Ezekiel Ansah has eight sacks and Glover Quin has two interceptions. Darius Slay is questionable with a neck injury.

The Eagles are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games in Week 12 and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games on fieldturf. The Lions are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games and 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games overall. The Eagles are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings.

The Eagles are a complete mess and it seems like Philly and Chip Kelly are going to part ways sooner than later. I also have zero trust in Sanchez at quarterback. Meanwhile, the Lions just beat two possible playoff teams in back-to-back weeks and usually play hard on Thanksgiving with this being a tradition for them. I like Detroit in this spot.
