The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Indianapolis Colts face off on Sunday in a Week 14 NFL battle of AFC South teams.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are 4-8 this season and despite the losing record they appear to be on the upswing. The Jaguars offense is averaging 22.9 points and 350.3 yards per game and they have a minus five turnover ratio. Jags QB Blake Bortles has completed 57.7 percent of his passes with 27 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. T.J. Yeldon leads the Jacksonville rushing attack with 678 yards and two touchdowns and Allen Robinson is the top receiver with 65 receptions and 11 touchdowns. Telvin Smith leads the Jacksonville defense with 113 tackles, Paul Posluszny has 104 tackles, and Johnathan Cyprien has 74 tackles. The Jaguars seem to be a few players away but they look closer to being a contender than they are further away.

The Indianapolis Colts lead the AFC South but at 6-6 this season has been a struggle for them. The Colts offense is averaging 21.6 points and 336.2 yards per game and they have a minus six turnover ratio. Colts QB Andrew Luck has been battered so Matt Hasselbeck has been filling in as QB but neither of them have been overly effective. Frank Gore is Indy’s top rusher with 702 yards and four touchdowns and T.Y. Hilton has 54 receptions and five touchdowns and Donte Moncrief has 53 catches and five touchdowns. The Colts defense is allowing 25.4 points and 399.1 yards per game with 14 interceptions, 19 sacks, and nine fumble recoveries. D’Qwell Jackson is the Colts top tackler with 122, Jerrell Freeman has 82 tackles, and Mike Adams has five interceptions. The Colts defense was gouged last week as the Colts were slaughtered by the Steelers.
Jacksonville is 5-1-1 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread, 4-1-1 against the spread against the AFC, and 9-20-1 against the spread in their last 30 home games. Indianapolis is 4-1 against the spread in their last five games, 20-6 against the spread following a loss, and 7-1 against the spread in their last eight road games against a team with a losing home record. The favorite has covered the point spread in five of the last six meetings of these two.
