The New York Jets hope to remain in the playoff hunt by getting their third straight victory. Ryan Fitzpatrick is completing 60.1 percent of his passes for 2,866 yards, 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Fitzpatrick has seven touchdown passes in his last three games. Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker have combined for 1,863 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns while Bilal Powell has 30 receptions. The New York Jets ground game is averaging 112.3 yards per contest, and Chris Ivory leads the way with 813 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, New York is allowing 20.7 points and 326.5 yards per game. David Harris leads the Jets with 84 tackles, Muhammad Wilkerson has nine sacks and Antonio Cromartie has nine pass deflections. Dion Bailey, Darrelle Revis and Marcus Williams are questionable.
The Titans are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 road games and 19-40-5 ATS in their last 64 games overall. The Jets are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. AFC and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games in December. The favorite is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings.
The Jets are finding ways to win but have been involved in many close games and are inconsistent at times. Meanwhile, the Titans defense continues to play at a high level while Mariota is starting to come into his own with six touchdowns in his last two contests. The Jets may win this game, but I like what I'm seeing from the Titans as of late.
I'll take the free touchdown.
