The Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals end their preseason Thursday night at Paul Brown Stadium.
The Indianapolis Colts look to finish the preseason with a .500 record after back-to-back losses. In the 33-23 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Stephen Morris led the way with 144 passing yards and one touchdown. Morris and Scott Tolzien are sure to get majority of the reps in this game with the starters not playing. Donte Moncrief and Mekale McKay combined for 107 receiving yards on seven catches while Phillip Dorsett had three receptions. The Indianapolis Colts ground game averaged 2.2 yards per carry and Robert Turbin led the charge with 24 yards on four carries. Defensively, Lee Hightower led the Colts with five tackles, Nate Irving had one sack and Frankie Williams had one pass deflection.

The Cincinnati Bengals have a quick turnaround after losing to the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday night. In the 26-31 loss, AJ McCarron led the way with 107 passing yards and one touchdown. McCarron will once again get majority of the reps in this game with the starters not playing. Jeremy Hill and Cody Core combined for 81 receiving yards on two catches while Giovani Bernard had two receptions. The Cincinnati Bengals ground game averaged 2.7 yards per carry and Bernard led the charge with 27 yards on three carries. Defensively, Chykie Brown led the Bengals with four tackles, Shawn Williams had one tackle for loss and Derron Smith had one pass deflection.
The Colts are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games on fieldturf and 12-1-1 ATS in their last 14 Thursday games. The Bengals are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 12-3-2 ATS in their last 17 games overall. The favorite is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings.
McCarron has picked up where he left off last postseason and is holding his own in the preseason. The Colts have nothing to like backup wise and could be in trouble here with no starters there to save them. I like Cincy and the chalk with McCarron playing the majority of this contest.
