The Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints meet Monday night in a NFC South matchup at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The Atlanta Falcons look for back-to-back road wins to make a statement to the rest of their division. Matt Ryan is completing 72.6 percent of his passes for 730 yards, five touchdowns and one interception. Ryan has seven touchdown passes in his last three games. Julio Jones and Jacob Tamme have combined for 298 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Tevin Coleman has seven receptions. The Atlanta Falcons ground game is averaging 95.5 yards per contest, and Devonta Freeman leads the way with 113 yards on 28 carries. Defensively, Atlanta is allowing 29.5 points and 412.5 yards per game. Kemal Ishmael leads the Falcons with 22 tackles, Vic Beasley Jr. has one sack and Desmond Trufant has one interception.

The New Orleans Saints are in desperate need of a victory after a rough 0-2 start to the season. Drew Brees is completing 66.3 percent of his passes for 686 yards, five touchdowns and zero interceptions. Brees has not thrown an interception in six straight games. Willie Snead and Brandin Cooks have combined for 437 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Michael Thomas has 10 receptions. The New Orleans Saints ground game is averaging 64.5 yards per contest, and Mark Ingram leads the way with 88 yards on 21 carries. Defensively, New Orleans is allowing 25.5 points and 451.5 yards per game. Craig Robertson leads the Saints with 24 tackles, Cameron Jordan has one sack and P.J. Williams has two pass deflections.

The Falcons are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Monday games and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 vs. NFC South. The Saints are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 vs. NFC South and 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 home games. The Falcons are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings in New Orleans.

The Falcons may be better than I thought, as a road win against a talented Raiders team is nothing to sneeze at. However, the Saints have lost their first two games by a combined four points. The Saints have beaten the Falcons in seven of the last 10 meetings and the home team has won seven of the last nine games between these two teams. The Saints are also usually tough to beat at home, especially in night games where that New Orleans crowd has had a chance to really get into the game and wake up.

I'll take the Saints here and the low line.
