The Los Angeles Rams look to win their fourth game in a row as they host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
The Bills are coming off a 16-0 shutout victory over the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium last weekend, and while the Pats were on their third string quarterback who only had one working hand it is still an impressive feat to keep the Pats off the scoreboard. The Bills will be out for their third win of the season as they take to the road to face off with the Los Angeles Rams, and after upending the Cardinals with great success the Bills can move to 2-0 against the NFC West this season. Rex Ryan football teams have always been known for their defense and that unit will be out to feast as Case Keenum here who led the Rams to their third straight win last weekend thanks to an upset over the slumping Cards.
The Rams looked downright awful in their season opener against the 49ers but they have since turned it around and have divisional wins against the Seahawks and Cardinals and can move to 4-1 with a win here against the Bills. Los Angeles will look to get Todd Gurley going who has had a quiet start to the season but if he can move the ball on the ground and give the Rams a bit of time to work with through the air they should be able to score some points and put themselves in a good spot for the win and potentially the cover. The problem though is that the Bills have a very good defense as well and are coming off a shutout and I think overall they are the better team despite Aaron Donald being the best player on the field.
The Bills are 4-0-1 in their last five games ATS against a team with a winning record, 1-4-1 ATS in their last six road games, and 5-1-1 in their last seven ATS against a team with a winning home record while the Rams are 4-1 in their last five ATS following a win and 6-2 ATS in their last eight overall. This is a tough line as the Bills to me are the better team but on the road and traveling across the country might be tough. In the end, I think getting a field goal is worth it and Buffalo has a very good shot at winning this one outright.
