The Edmonton Eskimos and Montreal Alouettes square off Monday afternoon at Molson Stadium on TSN.
The Edmonton Eskimos look for some consistency after splitting their last six games and would love to get a game above a .500 record. Mike Reilly is completing 71.1 percent of his passes for 4,708 yards, 23 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Reilly has four touchdown passes in his last three games. Adarius Bowman and Derel Walker have combined for more than 2,800 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns while Cory Watson has 43 receptions. The Edmonton Eskimos ground game is averaging 93.3 yards per contest, and John White leads the way with 533 yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, Edmonton is allowing 28.6 points and 399.6 yards per game. Deon Lacy leads the Edmonton Eskimos with 74 tackles, Almondo Sewell has eight sacks and J.C. Sherritt has three interceptions.

The Montreal Alouettes have a chance to win back-to-back games for the first time this season after beating Toronto last Sunday. Rakeem Cato is completing 74.5 percent of his passes for 898 yards, six touchdowns and one interception. Cato has thrown five touchdowns in his last three games. Duron Carter and Nik Lewis have combined for more than 1,600 receiving yards and eight touchdowns while B.J. Cunningham has 51 receptions. The Montreal Alouettes ground game is averaging 77.8 yards per contest, and Tyrell Sutton leads the way with 412 yards on 74 carries. Defensively, Montreal is allowing 23.5 points and 399 yards per game. Bear Woods leads the Montreal Alouettes with 96 tackles, Gabriel Knapton has six sacks and Billy Parker has two interceptions.
The Eskimos are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games in October. The Alouettes are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 home games and 6-14 ATS in their last 20 games overall. The Eskimos are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings and the over is 7-2-1 in the last 10 meetings.
I'd love to back the Alouettes at home with the free field goal and think they could string a few wins together, but I just can't do it. Montreal has had trouble all year finishing games and hasn't covered the number much during the process as well. The Eskimos have won the last five games against the Montreal Alouettes and have been a covering machine on the road. I like Edmonton to get the job done in Montreal and get a game above a .500 record with the season coming down the home stretch.
