The Baltimore Ravens look to snap their two game losing streak as they head into MetLife Stadium to face off with the 2-3 New York Giants.
The Ravens started the season with a 3-0 record but have since dropped back to back games and will look to avoid a third as they take on the Giants in New York in a game that should come down to the wire and will likely be dictated by the strength of each team’s quarterback. The Ravens have had to make some adjustments over the last five weeks and a huge part of that is the emergence of Terrance West as the team’s go to feature back running the football and if he can continue his surge moving forward it will allow the Baltimore passing game to open up and ease the tension on Joe Flacco. Baltimore will likely be without the ageless wonder Steve Smith here as he nurses some injuries so we will likely see a lot of Dennis Pitta and Mike Wallace here to go along with West who is due for a big afternoon.

The Giants meanwhile are 2-3 on the season and still haven’t had a break out game offensively as both Eli Manning and Odell Beckham have been relatively quiet, and with the running game in tatters that could continue here against a pretty decent Ravens defense. New York went out and shored up their defense in the offseason and parts of it has pay dividends as they have been better against the pass this season and have some guys can rush the passer that includes Jason Pierre-Paul and Olivier Vernon and if Flacco gets in trouble you can be sure these two won’t be far away. New York is due for a big game and against the Ravens at home it could be in this one.
The Ravens are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games, 3-1-1 ATS against a team with a losing record, and 1-5-1 in their last seven ATS in October while the Giants are 2-5-1 in their last eight ATS in week six, 0-3-1 ATS in their last four overall, and 1-5 in their last six games on turf. The Giants to me are underachieving and are ready to bust out and while I don’t like the line a whole lot I think they get it done here and cover.
