Two struggling teams face off in the Superdome on Sunday as the New Orleans Saints host the Carolina Panthers in an NFC South show down.
The Panthers face a cross roads in their season after losing yet another game last weekend at home against the Tampa Bay Bucs and now head into New Orleans for a divisional show down against the Saints who are coming off a bye. Carolina hasn’t looked the part of the defending NFC Champions and if they lose here they can pretty well kiss their chances of winning the division goodbye as the Falcons are rolling, and their playoff chances won’t be too great either. The Cats do get Cam Newton back here who has been cleared after sitting out last weekend and that will make a world of difference against a Saints team that can’t stop anybody on defense, let alone the reigning MVP and a dynamic a play maker as there is in the NFL.

The Saints meanwhile are coming off a bye week but were victorious the last time they took the field against the San Diego Chargers and will look to build on that win against the Panthers here. New Orleans still has a ton of weapons in the offensive zone as Drew Brees will look to knife through a Panthers secondary that has really missed Josh Norman this season and with Mark Ingram at his disposal in the back field he should have plenty of time to look down field for the likes of Cooks and Thomas.
The Panthers are 4-1 in their last five games during week six, 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall, and 0-6 in their last six road games while the Saints are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games in October, 7-2 ATS in their last nine games in week six, and 4-10-1 in their last 15 home games. The Panthers have been tough to watch lately but this looks like a rebound spot for them as the Saints defense is dreadful and while a divisional road game seems like a stretch I like the Panthers roster better than that of the Saints.
