The Cleveland Browns look for their first win of the season as they take to the road to face off against the Tennessee Titans.
The Browns have had a tough go of things to start the season as their quarterback carousel continues to spin with each passing week and while they have been competitive despite the injuries they are still seeking out their first win. Cleveland has had a decent start to the year from Isaiah Crowell and the running game and he has had to be sharp as the quarterback play has been modest at best, and while Josh McCown could be back soon it doesn’t look like it’ll come this weekend and they may have to resort to Charlie Whitehurst again. Cleveland will need to key in on Demarco Murray who has been brilliant through five weeks and has silenced any thought of Derrick Henry taking over as he is back to the same Murray we saw in his last season with the Cowboys.

The Titans meanwhile are coming off a win against the Miami Dolphins on the road and now return home to face off with the winless Browns in what could be a season defining two game swing for them as they make a push towards top spot in the wide open AFC South. The Titans finally got a big outing from Marcus Mariota this season and they will look for another against the Browns as the likes of Murray and tight end Delanie Walker are primed for a big week, but I would be cautious of playing this one. While the Browns are a mess they have been competitive in their losses this season and in a game that figures to feature both teams running the ball and battling for field position and a potential trap spot for the Titans this one could end up being closer than anticipated.
The Browns are 1-5 in their last six games overall, 3-8 in their last 11 following an ATS loss, and 2-7 in their last nine against the AFC while the Titans are 15=34-3 aTS in their last 52 home games and 2-16 straight up in their last 18 home games. Cleveland is winless but I like the way they have been playing and they are bound for a win soon and while it may not come here I think they keep this one very close in a field goal game.
