The Tennessee Titans hope to stay in the AFC South race and get back to a .500 record. The Tennessee Titans have lost 14 of their last 15 home games. Marcus Mariota is completing 60.6 percent of his passes for 1,088 yards, seven touchdowns and five interceptions. Mariota has two or more touchdown passes in five of his last nine games. Delanie Walker and Rishard Matthews have combined for 437 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Tajae Sharpe has 18 receptions. The Tennessee Titans ground game is averaging 148.6 yards per contest, and DeMarco Murray leads the way with 461 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, Tennessee is allowing 20.2 points and 320.6 yards per game. Avery Williamson leads the Tennessee Titans with 36 tackles, Brian Orakpo has six sacks and Jason McCourty has two interceptions.
The Browns are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Titans are 15-34-3 ATS in their last 52 home games and 13-34-4 ATS in their last 51 games overall. The home team is 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings and the over is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
This is a lot of points to give up considering the Titans have had major issues winning games at home let alone covering them. The Tennessee Titans have won just one home game in their last 15 tries and have covers just 15 of 52 home games. Those stats alone make you want to take the Cleveland Browns and the points. However, just watching a few minutes of the Browns automatically changes your mind and forces you to back the home team and the chalk. The Titans will own the Browns in the trenches and Mariota is becoming more and more comfortable as a passer.
I don't love this game at all, but the Titans should be able to beat up on the Browns like so many teams have done already this season.
