The Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Rams square off in a NFC NFL battle Sunday afternoon at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The Carolina Panthers look for back-to-back wins for the first time this season to climb out of a surprising 2-5 hole. The Carolina Panthers have lost their last four regular season road games. Cam Newton is completing 57 percent of his passes for 1,508 yards, eight touchdowns and six interceptions. Newton has one or less touchdown passes in three of his last four games. Greg Olsen and Kelvin Benjamin have combined for 1,088 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Ted Ginn Jr. has 19 receptions. The Carolina Panthers ground game is averaging 123.9 yards per contest, and Jonathan Stewart leads the way with 253 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, Carolina is allowing 28 points and 396 yards per game. Luke Kuechly leads the Carolina Panthers with 74 tackles, Star Lotulelei has four sacks and Thomas Davis has one interception.

The Los Angeles Rams look to snap a three-game losing streak and are fresh off a bye week. The Los Angeles Rams are 2-4-1 SU in their last seven games since returning from a bye week. Case Keenum is completing 62 percent of his passes for 1,708 yards, eight touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Keenum has two or more touchdown passes in three of his last five games. Kenny Britt and Brian Quick have combined for 892 receiving yards and five touchdowns while Tavon Austin has 36 receptions. The Los Angeles Rams ground game is averaging 79.9 yards per contest, and Todd Gurley leads the way with 403 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, Los Angeles is allowing 22 points and 343.3 yards per game. Alec Ogletree leads the Los Angeles Rams with 57 tackles, Aaron Donald has three sacks and Mark Barron has two interceptions.

The Panthers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games in November and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Rams are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a bye week and 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games in November. The  Panthers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 meetings and the home team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.

The Carolina Panthers needed their bye week after a rough start to the season, and they came out on fire against the Arizona Cardinals. That's the type of performance that can carry over and help the Panthers string more wins together to get back in the NFC wild card race. The Rams are just not a good football team and even with them having an extra week to prepare, that LA defense can only do so much to keep them in this game. This line is rather small for the talent gap between these two teams.

I'll take the Carolina Panthers and the small line with confidence.
