The Minnesota Vikings to build on their victory against the Saints as they take to the road to face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
The Vikings head on the road for the first time this season as they take on a Steelers team that held on for a win against the Cleveland Browns last weekend in what should be an exciting contest between two playoff hopefuls at Heinz Field. The Vikings had their way through the air and on the ground last weekend as Sam Bradford had one of his best games in years, and the receiving duo of Adam Thelien and Stefon Diggs tore apart the Saints secondary, while rookie running back Dalvin Cook looks like the real deal and will be leaned on to be the next big thing in the Minnesota back field. The VIkes though face a stiff test here as the Steelers are explosive on offense and will be playing at home where they usually rip teams apart, which accounts for the home side approaching a touchdown on the point spread.

The Steelers meanwhile nabbed a big divisional victory to start the season as they took down the Cleveland Browns, and while Cleveland got a back door cover the result was never in doubt as Pittsburgh dictated the pace of the game from whistle to whistle. The Steelers are strong on both sides of the ball but their offense will take centre stage as Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell, and Antonio Brown will be counted on all season, and against a Vikings defense that features Xavier Rhodes and Anthony Barr they will have to be in top form. The Steelers are a tough out at home but with this line starting to creep up towards the seven point range as the week moves on the Vikings just need to keep this one close and they are more than capable of doing so.
The Vikings are 6-0 ATS in their last six games in September and 21-6 ATS in their last 27 games following a cover while the Steelers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games in week two and 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Steelers to me are the better team but both are destined for the playoffs and as such I think the Vikings can keep this one close if Bradford is in full healt
