The Oakland Raiders will be looking to improve to 2-0 after winning their opener by a final score of 26-16, defeating the Tennessee Titans in week one. David Carr threw for 262 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 22 of his 32 pass attempts in the win. Marshawn Lynch had quite the homecoming, putting up 76 yards on 18 carries to lead the Raiders’ ground attack. Michael Crabtree led New York with 6 receptions for 83 yards, while Amari Cooper racked up 62 yards and a touchdown on 5 catches. Seth Roberts added a TD as well while Jared Cook caught 5 balls of his own for 56 yards. Defensively, the Raiders combined for a single sack while allowing 350 yards of total offense in the win.

New York is 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against the AFC while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall. Oakland is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 7-3 ATS in their last games against the AFC while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 week 2 matchups. The home team is 7-2-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings between these two teams.

I’ve said it before, that I have no expectations for the Jets this season, and even covering in the opener won’t change that. The Raiders are far more talented than the Bills, and have the potential to light up the scoreboard whenever they see fit. I’m not sure the Jets have the horses defensively to hang with the Raiders, and this one could get ugly. I’ll lay the two touchdowns with Oakland here.
