Over at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, we’ve got a fun NFL divisional rivalry game coming between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3.

So far this year, the Giants are 0-2 following a 19-3 loss to the Cowboys and a 24-10 loss to the Lions on “Monday Night Football.” In that Lions game, Giants QB Eli Manning finished 22-of-32 for 239 yards, a TD and a pick, while Shane Vereen managed 28 yards on six carries.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants - 9/24/17 NFL Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

On the season so far, Manning has 459 yards, one TD and two picks, while Orleans Darkwa leads the Giants in rushing on six carries for 31 yards. Evan Engram is New York’s leading receiver with eight catches on 12 targets for 93 yards and a score.

Over on the Philly side, they’re sitting at 1-1 on the season following an opening win 30-17 over the Redskins and a 27-20 loss to the Chiefs in Week 2. In that KC game, Eagles QB Carson Wentz put up a 25-of-46 line for 333 yards and two touchdowns with a pick, and also led Philadelphia in rushing with 55 yards on four carries. Zach Ertz was the top Eagles receiver with five catches for 97 yards.

Through two games, Wentz has 640 yards and four touchdowns with two picks; he’s also the top rusher on eight attempts for 61 yards. Ertz sits atop the receiver rankings in Philadelphia right now with his 18 targets, 13 receptions and 190 yards, but he hasn’t made it into the end zone just yet.

The Giants are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games following a straight-up loss and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games following an ATS loss. New York is also 1-4 ATS int heir last five road games and 1-4 in their last five games overall.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are 5-1 ATS in their last six games in September and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. Philadelphia is also 6-2 ATS in their last eight home games and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games in Week 3.

The Eagles should file a missing persons report on LeGarrette Blount, who got no carries at all in Week 2 in favor of Darren Sproles, who has been criminally misused by the team for his entire tenure. The good news for Philly is that their passing game is showing promising signs so far, with Ertz, Alshon Jeffery, Torrey Smith and Nelson Agholor getting in on the action. The Eagles simply have to get that running game in order, however, or they’re going to continue to have problems. I don’t think they’ll figure it out here, but against a Giants team that has shown no promise in any facet of their game I think Philly can get it done.
