USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to remain unbeaten at home to get a game above a .500 record. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have won five straight home games. Jameis Winston is completing 65.7 percent of his passes for 532 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. Winston has two or more touchdown passes in five of his last 10 games. Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson have combined for 283 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Adam Humphries has eight receptions. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ground game is averaging 71.5 yards per contest, and Jacquizz Rodgers leads the way with 82 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Tampa Bay is allowing 20.5 points and 402 yards per game. Lavonte David leads the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with 16 tackles, Noah Spence has one sack and Robert McClain has one interception.

The Giants are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS win, 33-16-3 ATS in their last 52 games in October and 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games in Week 4. The Buccaneers are 22-45-1 ATS in their last 68 home games, 6-2 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Giants are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Tampa Bay, 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 meetings and the under is 7-2 in the last 9 meetings.

I thought the Buccaneers were for real before I saw them get carved up by Case Keenum and give up nearly 500 yards of offense to the Vikings last week. This Tampa Bay defense isn’t good and now it lost linebacker Lavonte David and safety T.J. Ward is questionable with a quad injury. That’s not good with the Giants coming to town and them finding their groove offensively last week against the Eagles. The Giants have weapons on top of weapons and will be extremely tough to stop as long as the offensive line can protect. Sure, that’s a big if given what we’ve seen the first three weeks, but the potential is there for big numbers.  Either way, you have to like what you saw from Big Blue last week against a good Philadelphia defense. Things should be a lot easier against this Buccaneers squad.

I’ll take my free field goal in a game the Giants can win outright.
