The Houston Texans look to shake off a very tough loss in New England last weekend as they host the Tennessee Titans in an AFC South show down this weekend.
The Titans look for their third win in a row after dropping their opening weekend game to the Oakland Raiders and a road win against the Texans would be a huge statement to the rest of the division that they are the team to beat. Tennessee came into the season with high expectations from themselves and from the media and while they floundered their home opener they have been a force to be reckoned with since and as such they find themselves as road favourites in a divisional show down this weekend. Marcus Mariota has been strong and the running game is leading the way once again behind a stellar offensive line and up against the Texans who boast two of the league’s top pass rushers they know they are going to have to be sharp on Sunday.

The Texans meanwhile took one on the chin last weekend as they had the New England Patriots on the ropes at Gillette Stadium but a last minute drive capped off by a touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Brandin Cooks saved New England’s missteps and broke Houston hearts. The Texans head home looking to make a statement to the rest of the AFC South with a win against their division rivals and send the Houston fans home happy in what would certainly be an an emotional victory in front of a fan base who deserves it right now. Houston will need another big effort from Deshaun Watson and so far he has looked good and with some help from Lamar Miller and Deandre Hopkins on offense, and JJ Watt and Jadeveon Clowney on defense they should get the win and cover.
The Titans are 15-36-4 ATS in their last 55 against the AFC and 4-21-3 ATS against a team with a losing record while the Texans are 1-4 ATS in their last five at home and 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games in week four. Houston looked great last weekend before falling to Brady and now returning home I think they ride that play into a win and cover against the Titans.
