The Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins meet Sunday in NFL action at Hard Rock Stadium.

The Tennessee Titans could use a nice road victory here to get a game above a .500 record. The Tennessee Titans have split their last eight road games. Marcus Mariota is completing 60 percent of his passes for 792 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. Mariota is questionable for this game due to a hamstring injury. Rishard Matthews and Delanie Walker have combined for 469 receiving yards and one touchdown Eric Decker has 12 receptions. The Tennessee Titans ground game is averaging 138.8 yards per contest, and DeMarco Murray leads the way with 215 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Tennessee is allowing 31.5 points and 386.8 yards per game. Wesley Woodyard leads the Tennessee Titans with 36 tackles, Derrick Morgan has three sacks and Kevin Byard has one interception.

The Miami Dolphins look for a win to get them to a .500 record when they play at home for the first time this season. The Miami Dolphins have won five of their last six home games. Jay Cutler is completing 66.7 percent of his passes for 614 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Cutler has one or less touchdown passes in eight straight games. DeVante Parker and Jarvis Landry have combined for 396 receiving yards and one touchdown while Kenny Stills has nine receptions. The Miami Dolphins ground game is averaging 66.3 yards per contest, and Jay Ajayi leads the way with 184 yards on 51 carries. Defensively, Miami is allowing 19 points and 350 yards per game. Kiko Alonso leads the Miami Dolphins with 21 tackles, Cameron Wake has two sacks and Xavien Howard has one pass deflection.

The Titans are 6-15 ATS in their last 21 road games, 15-36-4 ATS in their last 55 vs. AFC and 16-37-3 ATS in their last 56 games overall. The Dolphins are 3-8 ATS vs. a team with a winning record, 6-13 ATS in their last 19 home games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games on grass. The over is 9-4 in Dolphins last 13 games overall and the over is 11-5 in Titans last 16 games overall.

The Dolphins finally get a home game after their schedule got out of whack thanks to Hurricane Irma. Although I'm not sure how much that helps when you consider the Dolphins offense has done nothing this season. Despite being loaded with offensive weapons, the fins can't get the offensive line to protect, Cutler looks lost half the time and it leads to constant three and outs. We're talking about a Miami offense that's scored a combined six points in the last eight quarters. However, the Titans are coming off a blowout loss where they looked like a college team, and Mariota is day to day with his hamstring injury. If Mariota doesn't play, I'm leaning Dolphins here. If he does, you have to give the big edge to the Titans.

Randy’s Pick Miami Dolphins +1 (If Mariota doesn't play)

The pick in this article is the opinion of the writer, not a Sports Chat Place site consensus.
