The Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers meet Sunday in NFL action at the Levi's Stadium.

The Arizona Cardinals look for their second road win of the season to get back to a .500 record. The Arizona Cardinals have lost seven of their last 10 road games. Drew Stanton is completing 35.7 percent of his passes for 66 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception. Stanton has just 87 pass attempts under his belt the last three years. Larry Fitzgerald and J.J. Nelson have combined for 810 receiving yards and five touchdowns while Jaron Brown has 20 receptions. The Arizona Cardinals ground game is averaging 63.4 yards per contest, and Adrian Peterson leads the way with 155 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Arizona is allowing 27.3 points and 352.7 yards per game. Tyvon Branch leads the Arizona Cardinals with 59 tackles, Chandler Jones has eight sacks and Antoine Bethea has three interceptions.

The San Francisco 49ers are still searching for their first regular season win since Christmas Eve of last year. The San Francisco 49ers haven’t won a home game since September 12 of last year. C.J. Beathard is completing 52.7 percent of his passes for 647 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Beathard enters this game with 110 career pass attempts under his belt. Pierre Garcon and Marquise Goodwin have combined for 849 receiving yards on 60 catches while George Kittle has 24 receptions. The San Francisco 49ers ground game is averaging 95.8 yards per contest, and Carlos Hyde leads the way with 453 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, San Francisco is allowing 27.4 points and 382 yards per game. Ray-Ray Armstrong leads the San Francisco 49ers with 54 tackles, Elvis Dumervil has 3.5 sacks and Jaquiski Tartt has one interception.

The Cardinals are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games, 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. NFC and 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games overall. The 49ers are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 home games, 7-15 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 vs. NFC West. The underdog is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 meetings and the under is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings.

The first meeting between these two was decided in overtime when Carson Palmaer found Larry Fitzgerald in the back of the endzone in the final seconds. Just the story of the 49ers season, as they get so close only to lose the game. The 49ers have been outscored 73-20 in their last two games, but five of their eight losses have been decided by three or less points. The Cardinals are coming off a shutout loss to the Los Angeles Rams and have a backup quarterback in Stanton, but they did just have a bye week, which should help him get comfortable with the starting offense. Either way, I'm not sure how you can lay points with the Cardinals on the road given their situation and the fact the 49ers and have been able to compete in nearly every game they've played. If the 49ers are going to win a game this season and their first home win in over a year, this feels like the spot. I'll take the points.
