The Detroit Lions look for back-to-back victories for the second time this season to get a game above a .500 record. The Detroit Lions have won seven of their last 11 home games. Golden Tate and Marvin Jones Jr. have combined for 1,077 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while Theo Riddick has 29 receptions. The Detroit Lions ground game is averaging 79.8 yards per contest, and Ameer Abdullah leads the way with 417 yards and two touchdowns. The Browns are 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 road games, 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games in November and 7-26-1 ATS in their last 34 games overall. The Lions are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games in November, 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games overall. The underdog is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings and the over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings. The over is 4-1 in Lions last 5 home games and the under is 11-5 in Browns last 16 games overall.
The Detroit Lions are playing on a short week while the Cleveland Browns are coming off a bye week, so the road team has a huge advantage here. However, it's the Browns we're talking about, and they're simply one of the worst franchises in all of sports. The Browns haven't won a game in nearly a year, haven't won a road game in over two years and aren't covering games despite being big underdogs most weeks. The Browns have lost 50 percent of their games this season by double digits and have scored 17 or less points in five straight games. At this point it's not even about making a case for the other team, it's all about fading the Browns and taking whatever number the bookies through out. You can't back this team. I'll take the Lions at home by double digits.
