The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears meet up in the Windy City for an NFC North show down at Soldier Field.
The Packers look to pull off a minor road upset as they face off against their long time rivals from Chicago as the Brett Hundley era continues in the absence of Aaron Rodgers and it is still a huge shock to see how this group has gone from a Super Bowl contender to a doormat in such a small span after losing the perennial MVP candidate behind centre. Green Bay is a group that looks as though they have been a decent team masked by the greatness of Rodgers and those flaws are starting to shine through as the play making ability of Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams, and Randall Cobb has taken a serious hit with Hundley in the fold and with the defense still lacking some game breakers at key positions the Pack look susceptible and it is showing here as they are 5.5-point dogs against a very underwhelming and short handed Bears team.

The Bears meanwhile have surprised some people with their play of late as they weren’t expected to do much of anything this season but with some impressive victories and inspired play from some key players this is a group that has some optimism and a home win against the Packers would continue that trend. Chicago has officially turned to Mitch Trubisky and while he has been more of a game manager so far and is being eased into the speed and complexity of the NFL game but he has received nothing but praise from some of his veteran teammates and as the rest of this season goes along it’ll be interesting to see if the coaching staff allows Trubisky to roam free.
The Packers are 1-5 ATS in their last six against a team with a losing record and 7-3 in their last 10 games in week 10 while the Bears are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 6-1 ATS in their last games in November. While Green Bay has looked woeful of late I think Hundley is getting better and this line seems a little too heavy for a divisional game in Chicago regardless of who isn’t on the field.
