The Jacksonville Jaguars will also look to build on a season opening victory, theirs coming in the form of a 20-15 win over the New York Giants in their last outing. New England is 37-17-2 ATS in their last 56 games overall and 14-3 in their last 17 road games while the under is 6-2 in their last 8 games against the AFC. Jacksonville is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a winning record and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games against the AFC while the over is 10-4 in their last 4 games in September. The under is 3-1-1 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.
Jacksonville’s defense appeared to be as good as advertised against New York, and while the Jags held their own with New England in the playoffs last season, I need to see that the Jaguars can do it here before instilling much faith in Jacksonville this season. The Patriots are still a solid offense, and while laying points on the road is tough, you rarely get the Patriots with these kinds of low lines regardless of when it is in the regular season. I’ll lay the points with New England strictly from a value standpoint.
