The Denver Broncos look to stay undefeated as they take to the road to battle the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC inter divisional clash.
The Broncos are coming off a come from behind win against their division rivals from Oakland last weekend and will look for a faster start against the Ravens in a matchup of two teams built on defense and with matching concerns behind centre. Denver has outlasted the Seahawks and Raiders through their first two weeks and have kept pace with the Kansas City Chiefs atop the AFC West but they face perhaps their stiffest test as they take to the road for the first time this season against a Ravens side who looked ugly last week after shellacking the Bills in Week 1. Denver will turn to their running game led by rookie tandem Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman and if the ground game continues to work it should give Case Keenum a bit more time to look down field to his talented receiving corps and keep this game close.

The Ravens meanwhile played catch up last week against the Cincinnati Bengals in a game where they didn’t really show up, but luckily for them they have a few more days of preparation here against a very similar Broncos side. Baltimore will need a bounce back effort from Alex Collins who looked pedestrian at times against the Bengals but in order to do so the Ravens coaching staff needs to get him the football some more as they continue to lean on passing down back Buck Allen in goal line situations. Baltimore opened up as a 3.5-point favourite but have since moved up two full points as many are not buying the 2-0 start from the Broncos.
Denver is a paltry 1-9 ATS in their last 10 road games and are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 overall against the AFC while the Ravens are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six against a team with a winning record and are 5-1 ATS in their last six at home against Denver. This is a strange line as these two sides are almost identical, yet the Ravens are the ones who are more banged up and I like this one to stay close until the end.
