The Indianapolis Colts look for a pivotal road win as they take on a fractured Oakland Raiders side who continues to pack it in with each passing week.
The Colts look to continue their recent success against weak teams as they head into Oakland to face off against the Raiders on Sunday as they look for their 13th cover in their last 15 tries against a team with a losing home record. Indianapolis is coming off a strong effort last weekend as both Marlon Mack and Andrew Luck had spectacular games and they have a cupcake matchup here against a Raiders side that is already looking towards next year after sending Amari Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys. Indy has struggled against AFC opponents lately and have fallen flat after a strong effort the week before with a 2-9 ATS mark in their last 11 after scoring 30 or more points in their previous outing but will be in a good position here on the road against Oakland.

The Raiders are quickly becoming a laughing stock under the new regime led by Jon Gruden and while many have praised the Raiders head coach and the organization for moving Cooper to the Cowboys for a first round draft pick it does indicate that the Raiders are moving on to the future just 7 weeks into the season. Oakland will look for a strong effort from Derek Carr and the rest of the offense after they were embarrassed two weeks ago against the Seahawks in London but with recent reports suggesting Carr has lost the locker room and that he might be next to go it may not provide a ton of incentive for the former Fresno State Bulldog to get his team victories.
The Colts are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 meetings with the Raiders and are 31-13 in their last 44 ATS against a team with a losing record while the Raiders are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 following the bye week. Indy is playing the better football and have an underrated defense but this seems like a spot for the Raiders to step up with their pride on the line and getting points at home is where we will side.
