The Los Angeles Rams look to get back in the win column after their first loss of the season last weekend against the Saints when the host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
The Seahawks look to keep their bid for a playoff spot alive as they head into Los Angeles to battle the Rams in a divisional show down on Sunday. Seattle currently sits at 4-4 on the season and will need to finish the year strong if they’re going to be in contention for a wild card spot in the NFC as there are plenty of contenders ahead of them right now. The Seahawks though could make a statement here with a road win against one of the NFL’s best teams but they are going to need a strong effort from Russell Wilson as the rest of the team hasn’t been pulling their weight. They face a Rams side who will surely be upset with how things ended against New Orleans last weekend and will likely take that frustration out on a Seattle side who has looked pedestrian at times this season.
The Rams meanwhile were put on notice by the Saints last weekend in a show down of two of the best teams in the NFL and they will look to rebound on defense, namely Marcus Peters who was torched by Michael Thomas for over 200 yards. Los Angeles remains a serious threat if not the front runner to win the Super Bowl this season and as a double digit home favourite on Sunday against the Seattle it goes to show how much respect Sean McVay and company have in Vegas. Los Angeles has dominated against the spread in this series recently as they are 5-1 ATS against the Seahawks in their last 6 matchups while the Under has hit in 12 of the last 17 show downs overall so recent trends suggest we might be in for a low scoring contest.
The Seahawks are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 12 games during week 10 and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games on grass while the Rams are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 against the NFC and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 overall. Seattle needs this win but they are going to be in tough against a Rams team looking to rebound and the line isn’t steep enough. Rams clean up and win by at least 2 touchdowns.
