The Line: Denver Broncos +3 -- Over/Under: 47
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos meet Sunday in week 12 NFL action at Broncos Stadium at Mile High.
The Pittsburgh Steelers look to keep chasing a top seed in the AFC while building on their six-game winning streak. The Pittsburgh Steelers have won their last four road games. Ben Roethlisberger is completing 65.1 percent of his passes for 3,202 yards, 23 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Roethlisberger has two or more touchdown passes in 15 of his last 19 games. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Antonio Brown have combined for 1,673 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns while Vance McDonald has 33 receptions. The Pittsburgh Steelers ground game is averaging 97.7 yards per contest, and James Conner leads the way with 796 yards and 10 touchdowns. Defensively, Pittsburgh is allowing 22.5 points and 326.8 yards per game. Jon Bostic leads the Pittsburgh Steelers with 62 tackles, T.J. Watt has 10 sacks and Cameron Sutton has one interception.
The Denver Broncos look for another feel good victory after losing six of their last eight games. The Denver Broncos have lost three straight home games. Case Keenum is completing 63.3 percent of his passes for 2,605 yards, 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Keenum has one or less touchdown passes in six of his last nine games. Emmanuel Sanders and Courtland Sutton have combined for 1,222 receiving yards and five touchdowns while Jeff Heuerman has 29 receptions. The Denver Broncos ground game is averaging 124.8 yards per contest, and Phillip Lindsay leads the way with 670 yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, Denver is allowing 23.5 points and 375.5 yards per game. Todd Davis leads the Denver Broncos with 72 tackles, Von Miller has 10 sacks and Justin Simmons has two interceptions.
The Steelers are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 road games, 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 vs. AFC and 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Broncos are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 home games, 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 vs. AFC and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Steelers are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Denver and 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 meetings. The under is 6-2-1 in Broncos last 9 games overall. The under is 21-6 in Steelers last 27 road games.
The Pittsburgh Steelers had a comeback for the ages last week when they rebounded from being down 16 points to the Jacksonville Jagaurs, a victory that should only add to the confidence of this rising team. The Denver Broncos picked up a nice upset win over the Los Angeles Chargers and have a chance to win back-to-back games for the first time since the first two weeks of the season. The Pittsburgh Steelers are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games as a favorite of at least three points. The Denver Broncos have covered their last three games as an underdog of at least three points. The Broncos got a nice win last week and playing in Denver is never easy, but this line feels a little soft. The Steelers are easily the better team here, and if that offense gets off to a fast start, I doubt Keenum and others will be able to keep up. I just don't get the respect the Broncos are getting in this spot. I'll take the Steelers and the soft line.
