The Cincinnati Bengals look to play spoiler at this point while snapping a rough four-game losing streak. The Cincinnati Bengals have lost three of their last four road games. The Los Angeles Chargers have a shot at double-digit wins for the first time since 2009, as they inch closer towards a top seed in the AFC. The Los Angeles Chargers have won three of their last four home games. Philip Rivers is completing 69.7 percent of his passes for 3,418 yards, 28 touchdowns and six interceptions. Rivers has two or more touchdown passes in each of his last 13 games. Keenan Allen and Tyrell Williams have combined for 1,529 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns while Mike Williams has 27 receptions. The Bengals are 18-8 ATS in their last 26 games in December, 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. AFC and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Chargers are 11-24 ATS in their last 35 home games, 5-2 ATS in their last 7 vs. AFC and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Bengals are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings in Los Angeles and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings. The under is 14-5 in Chargers last 19 vs. AFC. The over is 4-1 in Bengals last 5 games overall.
The Cincinnati Bengals aren't getting any better as the injuries are piling up and four of their last five losses have been decided by 14 or more points. The Los Angeles Chargers are coming off a monster road win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in which they came back from a big hole, but this is the ultimate trap game with the Kansas City Chiefs on deck. The Cincinnati Bengals have failed to cover each of their last six games as a double-digit underdog. The Los Angeles Chargers have split their last six games ATS as a double-digit favorite. I'm never big on laying double-digit chalk and the Chargers are in a major lookahead spot with the Steelers last week and the Chiefs next week. It's human nature to lose some of that edge in a game like this. However, I'm not sure how the Bengals find offensive success in this game and the injuries are getting worse. If the Chargers bring that energy they've brought all year, they cruise big. I wouldn't play it, but it's my pick if forced to play.
