The Oakland Raiders were 4-0 when they had a big showdown against the Denver Broncos who were also 4-0. Stabler let his team down big time throwing seven interceptions.

Tommy Wade wasn’t good in 1965 for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the worst game of his career was against the Philadelphia Eagles throwing seven picks. Jim Nettles had three of those interceptions and returned for one touchdown.

All the way back in 1948, Glenn Dobbs threw three touchdowns against the San Francisco 49ers, but he also threw seven interceptions, and he didn’t give his Los Angeles Dons any chance to win.

Zeke Bratkowski only attempted only 28 passes against the Baltimore Colts in 1960, but seven of those passes were picked off. The Bears only managed seven points in the game and it was a blowout loss.

Ty Detmer threw only three touchdowns and ten interceptions in 2001, and a big reason is because of one game. Against the Cleveland Browns, Detmer completed 22 of his 42 passes for 212 yards, one touchdown, and seven interceptions.
1. Jim Hardy - 8 Interceptions
The NFL record for interceptions is led by Jim Hardy who played for the Chicago Cardinals and set the record in 1950, Hardy threw for 193 yards and a touchdown, but he also threw eight interceptions. He also completed only 12 of his 39 passes in that game.
