The Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles meet in a Madden 20 simulation game on Monday night.
The Seattle Seahawks come into this one at 4-0, sitting unbeaten after picking up a 37-27 win over the Green Bay Packers in their last outing. Russell Wilson is the man on the offensive side of the football for Seattle as a 91 overall rated QB, with a pair of 89 marks in throwing power and medium pass accuracy with low-90s ratings in short and deep ball accuracy. Wilson also has an 86 speed rating as well as 90 in acceleration and 93 in agility. Chris Carson right there at 87 overall with 88 speed and 89 acceleration as well as a 90 rated stiff arm. Tyler Lockett leads Seattle’s receiving group at 87 overall with a 93 speed rating and a 97 agility mark as well as a 92 catching rating. Defensively, Bobby Wagner is one of the elite Madden pieces with the coveted 99 overall rating. Wagner boasts a 99 tackling rating, a 98 power mark as well as a 92 rating in block shedding.
The Philadelphia Eagles come into this one at 2-0 with a pair of division wins under their belt, beating the Giants by a score of 35-14 last time out. Zach Ertz comes in at a 90 overall rating including a 93 catch attribute while Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson make up the top of the Eagles’ receiving corps as three of the top offensive rated skill players at 85 and 84 overall with Jackson having speed, acceleration and agility ratings all in the mid-90s. Carson Wentz is 83 overall at QB with a 90 throw power rating as well. Defensively, Fletcher Cox boasts a team-high 95 overall rating, with 86 acceleration, 95 strength and 96 power moves as well as 93 tackling.
The Eagles definitely have some solid pieces, but I said it against the Packers and I’ll say it here too, I really like the Seahawks and what they’ve done up to this point and I hold Seattle in the same regard as I do New Orleans in this edition of Madden as the Eagles are just one of the best teams in the game. Sure, anything can happen in these sims and they’re as close to a coin flip as you can really get, but the Seahawks have been kind to us up until now, and I don’t really see any reason to jump off yet. I’ll lay the points with Seattle here.
