The Line: Seattle Seahawks -3.5 -- Over/Under: 44.5
The Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks meet Monday night in a Madden20 simulation game.
The Minnesota Vikings are one of those teams that’s absolutely loaded on the offensive side of the ball with wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen, as well as running back Darlin Cook all ranked 90 overall or better. The Vikings defense isn’t too shabby either with safety Harrision Smith being the teams highest rated player at 95 overall while Everyone Griffen and Danielle Hunter being two speed rushers ranked in the high 80s. Quarterback Kirk Cousins is also somebody you can win with, as he has a decent rating of 82 overall and a 82 acceleration rating to do a good job of moving the pocket. The Minnesota Vikings can’t seem to make this team work in real life, but they have a lot of fun weapons to use in the video game and should have a lot of success as well as flashy plays on both sides of the ball.
The Seattle Seahawks are led by two of the higher ranked players in the game with linebacker Bobby Wagner coming in at 98 overall and quarterback Russell Wilson carrying a 97 rating overall. Wide receiver Tyler Lockett has a speed of 93 and defensive end Jadeveon Clowney has seen his ranking drop since the games launch, but he still comes in at an 88 overall and has an 87 rating for speed that makes him tough to stop once he clears the edge. The Seattle Seahawks are one of the flashier teams in the game due to the overall speed at key positions, and they can change the momentum of the game in a hurry.
The Minnesota Vikings offense has been hit or miss a lot of times in these simulations and they looked sloppy for much of their game yesterday against the Miami Dolphins. The Seattle Seahawks have been kind to us in these simulations and they have the difference makers on both sides of the ball to really open up a game. With Wilson leading the offense and countless highly rated defensive players, the Seahawks are a tough team to step in front of as long as the spread is reasonable.
I'll lay the small chalk with the Seattle Seahawks at home.
