The Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks meet in a Madden 20 NFL simulation game on Saturday night.

Ezekiel Elliott leads the Cowboys’ offense, rated 93 overall at starting running back with 90 speed, 91 acceleration and 95 agility while Amari Cooper leads the Cowboys’ receivers at 91 overall with 92 speed, 96 agility and 89 catching. Dak Prescott has an 81 overall rating at starting QB with 87 throwing power and 88 short pass accuracy. On the defense, Byron Jones and Demarcus Lawrence lead the Cowboys’ D, each at 88 overall apiece, with Lawrence owning a 93 finesse move rating, 89 power move and 88 block shedding rating while Jones has 92 speed, 94 acceleration and 96 agility to go along with an 84 man coverage rating and 90 zone coverage rating in the Dallas secondary.
The Seattle Seahawks will look to build on back-to-back sim wins after a 13-10 win over Arizona last time out. On D, Bobby Wagner is Seattle’s best defender with a 98 overall rating, with 96 tackling, 90 impact blocking, 98 power, as well as high-90s attribute ratings in pursuit and play recognition. Jadeveon Clowney is right behind on the defensive line at 88 overall with 95 pursuit, 91 play recognition, 87 speed and 90 acceleration.
I completely understand the Cowboys being favored after their last couple of wins, but these sims don’t take momentum into consideration, and while it’s impressive, We’ve seen enough of a solid sample size with Seattle, and a positive one at that, to suggest that points with the Seahawks hold value, even in a simulation game. I wouldn’t be surprised either way, but the Seahawks have been too good to me in these sim games to pass up points here. I’ll take Seattle and the points in a game I think Seattle wins outright.
