On defense for Jacksonville, each level of the Jaguars’ defense has a player rated at 84 overall, with A.J. Bouye anchoring the secondary, Telvin Smith in the linebacking corps and Yannick Ngakoue up front in the trenches. On defense, J.J. Watt leads at 97 overall with 97 strength, 94 impact blocking, 97 tackling, 93 finesse move and 94 power move. D.J. Reader and Justin Reid also come in at 84 overall for the Texans’ defense with Reader on the defensive front and Reid in the secondary.
The Texans didn’t have the best luck with these sim matchups, but they’re a solid team and still have DeAndre Hopkins in this edition of the game. Jacksonville isn’t a great team to begin with and they haven’t been great in these sim games either. I just think this is a game where the team with the higher rated players comes through, so I’ll lay the points with Houston in this spot.
