The Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders meet Friday afternoon in a Madden20 simulation game.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champs and have six players ranked in the 90s overall. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is damn near a cheat code with his 99 rating overall, 97 awareness rating and 87 acceleration rating. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill has a 96 rating overall and his acceleration and speed ratings are 99, and he’s an easy touchdown once he gets off press coverage. Defensive end Frank Clark is a speedy pass rusher who gets to the pass rusher regularly and tight end Travis Kelce is a beast across the middle with his 96 rating. Like most teams that win the title, Madden shows love to a lot of the players and it’s been no different for the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Oakland Raiders aren’t all that fun to play with in this game, as their highest rated player is their center in Rodney Hudson, who is a 93 overall rating with a 90 strength rating. Richie Incognito and Trent Brown are the Raiders next highest rated players, which makes for a strong offensive line but really thin on the difference makers. Running back Josh Jacobs is rated 85 overall with a 91 acceleration rating while tight end Darren Waller is rated 85 overall with an 89 speed rating. Quarterback Derek Carr is rated 80 overall with an 87 acceleration rating and Tyrell Williams is his top ranked receiver with an 82 overall rating and 95 agility rating. The Oakland Raiders have one of the better offensive lines in the game, but the defense can get gashed and the offense can struggle to produce the big play that really opens the game up.
The Kansas City Chiefs should have a field day on the offensive end in this game against a Raiders defense that's not all that good and allows big plays often. The Oakland Raiders are also prone to turnovers and short drives offensively, giving the Chiefs more chances to have success. This should be a comfortable Cheifs victory, but I'm leaning toward the over in this spot. Quite a high total, but it just goes to show how explosive this game can be.
Give me the over 52 points in a game where we should see a lot of fireworks.
