The Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Ravens meet in a Madden 20 NFL simulation game on Saturday night.
The Indianapolis Colts come into this one looking to build off of a 30-27 win over the New England Patriots in their last game. T.Y. Hilton leads the Colts on the offensive side with an 88 overall rating, with 93 speed as well as 95 agility and 91 acceleration at wide receiver. The Colts also have some bulk up front with four offensive linemen with at least an 80 overall rating, led by Quenton Nelson who has a team-high 94 overall rating with a 99 awareness rating as well as 97 strength and 92 run blocking. On the defensive end, Justin Houston leads the Colts with an 86 overall rating, including a 93 mark in play recognition while Darius Leonard sits at one of the outside linebacker spots with an 85 overall rating including an 88 rating in tackling.
The Baltimore Ravens will look to bounce back from a 33-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints last time up. Lamar Jackson leads the Ravens on offense at QB with a 92 overall rating, with 92 throw power and 92 short pass accuracy to go along with 96 speed, 96 acceleration and 95 agility. Mark Ingram II comes in at 86 overall as the Ravens’ top running back with 88 speed, 91 acceleration and 89 carrying while Mark Andrews is not far behind at tight end with an 85 overall rating. Defensively, Earl Thomas III leads the Ravens with a team-high 93 overall rating, including 92 jumping and 96 zone coverage at FS and Michael Pierce is a solid 91 overall on the defensive line with 94 block shedding and 90 impact blocking while Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters put together a strong pair in the secondary at 89 and 85 overall for Baltimore. Humphrey possesses a 90 man coverage rating as well as 92 speed and 93 acceleration while Peters has 87 man coverage, 91 speed and 91 acceleration.
There’s no denying that the Ravens are the better team side by side, but the Ravens have also had a bunch of disappointing performances for their ratings as of late, while the Colts just beat the Patriots as a dog and while I’m not sure they do it again here, I like Indy’s chances of at worst keeping this one close. I’ll take a shot with Indianapolis and the points as well as putting a smidge on the Colts ML as well.
