The Line: Indianapolis Colts -6.5 -- O/U: 55
The Indianapolis Colts and the Miami Dolphins meet in a Madden 20 NFL simulation game on Wednesday afternoon.
The Indianapolis Colts come into this game looking to rebound from a 55-52 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last time out. T.Y. Hilton leads the Colts on offense with an 88 overall rating, with 93 speed as well as 95 agility and 91 acceleration. Indy also have some solid beef up front with four offensive linemen with at least an 80 overall rating, led by Quenton Nelson who has a team-high 94 overall rating with a 99 awareness rating as well as 97 strength and 92 run blocking. On defense, Justin Houston leads the Colts at 86 overall, including a 93 mark in play recognition while Darius Leonard sits at one of the outside linebacker spots with an 85 overall rating including an 88 rating in tackling.
The Miami Dolphins will try to improve off of a 44-38 win over Oakland in their last sim matchup. Devante Parker leads Miami with an 84 overall rating, including 91 speed and 91 acceleration while Albert Wilson is at 76 overall at another wide receiver spot with 91 speed and acceleration as well. Ryan Fitzpatrick leads the way at quarterback for the Dolphins, but only with a 74 overall rating. On defense, three of Miami’s four 80+ rated overall players are all in the secondary, with Xavien Howard and Aqib Talib at 82 and 81 overall with Howard owning 92 speed and 92 acceleration while Talib has 91 acceleration and 91 agility. Reshad Jones is also at 82 overall at strong safety with 86 speed and 89 acceleration.
I’m not a huge fan of the Colts in the favorite role as I just feel a lot more comfortable starting with points and Indianapolis has thrived as a dog lately. However, the Colts are simply the better team here and have had no problems putting points on the board. Miami’s shown up offensively at times, but their opposition has shown up in a big way on the other side more often than not, and I just think this is a game that the Colts win by at least a TD so I’ll lay the points with Indianapolis here.
