The Washington Football Team and the Arizona Cardinals meet Sunday in NFL action from University of Arizona Stadium.

Washington comes in here at 1-0 after a pretty solid Week 1 comeback division win over Philadelphia 27-17. As for the Cardinals, they were able to pick up a comeback victory in Week 1 as well, taking out San Francisco by a score of 24-20. Washington was a bit shaky in the first half versus the Eagles in Week 1, but to their credit came back from a 17-7 halftime deficit. Philadelphia was erratic and ineffective in the second half, and Washington was able to post 20 unanswered points to take a big opener win.

Washington quarterback Dwayne Haskins posted 178 yards and a touchdown on 17-of-31 passing, and Peyton Barber rushed 17 times for 29 yards and two scores. Leading the Washington receivers was Terry McLaurin with five catches for 61 yards.

Over on the Arizona side, they had some trouble shaking off the 49ers in the Week 1 victory, but stayed in control for most of the game. The Cardinals had a 13-10 deficit going into halftime, and didn’t score in the third quarter. Arizona managed two touchdowns in the fourth to escape with a 24-20 comeback win, though.

In the Week 1 win, Arizona quarterback Kyle Murray managed 230 yards, a touchdown and an interception on 26-of-40 passing. Murray also led the rushing attack with 91 yards and a score off 13 carries. Newly-acquired star receiver DeAndre Hopkins jumped right into the mix with 14 catches for 151 yards to lead the team.

Washington is 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games in Week 2 and the over is 4-1 in their last five games overall. The over is also 4-1 in Washington’s last five games as an underdog and 4-1 in their last five games in September.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games in Week 2 and 3-1-2 ATS in their last six versus the NFC. Arizona is 7-3-2 ATS in their last 12 games overall and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games as a favorite.

Pick: I’m leaning toward Washington here, but it’s very close. The early returns on Arizona are promising; Murray had a solid outing, and Hopkins was—well, he was Hopkins. Great stuff as usual, and we’ll probably see plenty of shots downfield toward the tandem of Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald. That said, if Washington can keep things close on defense by preventing those big-payoff pass plays, I think they’ve got enough offensive life to get within a score. I think Arizona wins this one, but Washington makes it interesting.
