Defensively, San Francisco is allowing 18.5 points and 340.5 yards per game. Fred Warner leads the San Francisco 49ers with 21 tackles, Kerry Hyder Jr. has one sack and Jaquiski Tartt has one interception.

The New York Giants need a win here to avoid their first 0-3 start since the 2017 NFL season. The New York Giants have lost six of their last seven home games. The New York Giants weren’t a good football team to begin with entering the season and the loss of star running back Saquon Barkley doesn’t improve things. The San Francisco 49ers are clearly the better team, but they’re dealing with injury issues of their own, as defensive end Nick Bosa is out for the year, and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and tight end George Kittle are questionable with injuries of their own. I can’t get behind either of these teams with much confidence given the injuries to key players, but I’d have to lean the Giants at home and the free points. I’m not laying chalk with a road team that could be without three of its best players.
