The Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills meet Sunday in week 3 NFL action at Bills Stadium.
The Los Angeles Rams look for another road victory to start 3-0 for the third straight season. The Los Angeles Rams have lost four of their last seven road games. Jared Goff is completing 69 percent of his passes for 542 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Goff has zero touchdown passes in four of his last 10 games. Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods have combined for 240 receiving yards on 24 catches while Tyler Higbee has eight receptions. The Los Angeles Rams ground game is averaging 172 yards per contest, and Malcolm Brown leads the way with 126 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Los Angeles is allowing 18 points and 371.5 yards per game. Micah Kiser leads the Los Angeles Rams with 23 tackles, Aaron Donald has one sack and Troy Hill has one interception.
The Buffalo Bills look for a statement win to start 3-0 back-to-back seasons. The Buffalo Bills have split their last eight home games. Josh Allen is completing 70.4 percent of his passes for 729 yards, six touchdowns and zero interceptions. Allen has two or more touchdown passes in five of his last nine games. Stefon Diggs and John Brown have combined for 391 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Cole Beasley has nine receptions. The Buffalo Bills ground game is averaging 104.5 yards per contest, and Devin Singletary leads the way with 86 yards on 19 carries. Defensively, Buffalo is allowing 17 points and 254 yards per game. Micah Hyde leads the Buffalo Bills with 13 tackles, Mario Addison has two sacks and Matt Milano has one interception.
The Rams are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games, 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in September and 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Bills are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in Week 3 and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The over is 4-1 in Rams last 5 games overall. The under is 13-6 in Bills last 19 games overall.
While it's only two games, the Los Angeles Rams are starting to look like the team they were a couple years ago, as the offense is firing on all cylinders and the defense is getting after the quarterback. The Buffalo Bills are off to a strong start as well, but it's important we note that their two wins came against the Jets and Dolphins. Not exactly strong competition, and I can promise you Josh Allen isn't as good as he looked last week. The Bills enter this game banged up at the linebacker position and the Rams have weapons everywhere attack that weakness.
I'll take the free field goal with the Rams, possibly the better team.
