The Baltimore Ravens and Washington Football Team meet Sunday in week 4 NFL action at FedExField.
The Baltimore Ravens look for their second road victory to improve to 3-1 on the season. The Baltimore Ravens have won seven straight road games. Lamar Jackson is completing 68.8 percent of his passes for 576 yards, five touchdowns and zero interceptions. Jackson has three or more passing touchdowns in four of his last six games. Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews have combined for 265 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Willie Snead IV has eight receptions. The Baltimore Ravens ground game is averaging 166.3 yards per contest, and Jackson leads the way with 182 yards on 32 carries. Defensively, Baltimore is allowing 18.7 points and 375.7 yards per game. Chuck Clark leads the Baltimore Ravens with 22 tackles, Tyus Bowser has two sacks and Marlon Humphrey has one interception.
The Washington Football Team look for their second home victory to get back to a .500 record. The Washington Football Team have lost seven of their last nine home games. Dwayne Haskins Jr. is completing 56.4 percent of his passes for 625 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions. Haskins has two touchdown passes in three of his last six games. Terry McLaurin and Steven Sims Jr. have combined for 372 receiving yards and one touchdown while Logan Thomas has 12 receptions. The Washington Football Team ground game is averaging 100 yards per contest, and Antonio Gibson leads the way with 140 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Washington is allowing 27 points and 334.3 yards per game. Jon Bostic leads the Washington Football Team with 24 tackles, Chase Young has 2.5 sacks and Landon Collins has one interception.
The Ravens are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as a road favorite, 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 road games and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games overall. The Football Team are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games in October, 3-8 ATS in their last 11 home games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The under is 4-0 in Ravens last 4 games overall. The over is 5-1 in Football Team last 6 games overall. The favorite is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
The Baltimore Ravens are obviously the better team here on both sides of the ball and could blow the doors off, but I hate laying massive chalk, especially in the NFL where games are usually competitive and you leave yourself open for a backdoor cover. The Washington Football Team have also been a competitive team this season, beating the Eagles outright in their season opener and hanging around with the Cardinals and Browns on the road. The Ravens have a short week to prepare for this game and there's a chance Washington could get Chase Young back to the defensive line. This is simply too many points for me to get involved.
Give me Washington and the two free touchdowns.
