The Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens meet Saturday afternoon in a Madden20 NFL simulation game.

The Houston Texans have one of the best difference makers on both sides of the ball in wide receiver Deandre Hopkins (98 overall) and defensive end JJ Watt (97 overall). Both of those guys can takeover a game even in the virtual world and their awareness of 99 overall makes them reliable in games like this with the computer leading the way. The Texans also have a solid left tackle in Laremy Tunsil who is an 87 overall rating and a 91 awareness rating. Quarterback wise, the Texans have Deshaun Watson who has a 86 overall rating and an 88 acceleration rating, so he can kill defenses with his arm or legs. The x-factor for the Texans is wide receiver Will Fuller, who has a 95 speed rating and 93 acceleration rating, giving him the ability to take the top off a defense. Bottom line, the Texans are one of the more underrated teams in Madden20.

The Baltimore Ravens have five players ranked 91 overall or better, including safety Earl Thomas, left tackle Ronnie Stanley, quarterback Lamar Jackson, right guard Marshal Yanda and defensive tackle Michael Pierce. Not only do the Ravens have a stacked offensive line, but they have a quarterback who has a 96 speed rating and 96 acceleration rating, which makes him the modern Michael Vick and pretty much a cheat code in the video game world. Running back Mark Ingram is also tough to bring down and kicker Justin Tucker misses almost nothing with his 87 overall rating. The Baltimore Ravens may not have won the Super Bowl in real life, but they’re absolutely loaded in Madden and almost unfair to play with if you find yourself playing online.

The Baltimore Ravens and the small chalk is almost a must play, as they’re tough defensively and have a cheat code at quarterback. Getting Lamar Jackson in the open field is scary and almost unfair in this game. With that said, the Houston Texans are one of my favorite teams to play with in this game personally and that can lead to some bias in these picks. The Texans have underrated weapons on the offensive side with a really good quarterback, and their defense isn’t nearly as bad as it was in real life.

Give me the Texans and the free field goal.
