Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans – 6/19/20 Madden20 NFL Sim Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars meet Friday night in a Madden20 NFL simulation game.

The Tennessee Titans have four players ranked 86 overall or better in safety Kevin Byard, running back Derrick Henry, cornerback Logan Ryan and tight end Delanie Walker. Just like in real life, the Titans are a physical team in the trenches and rely on a power running game behind the highly rated offensive linemen Rodger Saffold and Taylor Lewan. If the opposing defense doesn’t have a strong front seven, the Titans are going to control the clock and run the ball to victory. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill comes in at 80 rating overall and is a solid 81 speed rating and 86 acceleration rating, so he can make plays with his legs and give the defense something else to think about. The Tennessee Titans may not be the sexiest team in Madden, but they have an identity and are extremely good at the style they bring to the field.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have only one player ranked in the 90s, and that’s defensive end Calais Campbell, who comes in at a 95 overall. The Jaguars next two highest rated players is their center Brandon Linder at 87 and their kicker Josh Lambo at 85 overall. It’s a sign of a bad football team when the kicker is the third highest rated player. Running back Leonard Fournette is still a tough guy who is hard to bring down even in the video game and his 92 speed makes for a solid option, but other than that there’s just not a lot to get excited about. Quarterback Nick Foles is a 71 overall, meaning he dropped six rating points since the games launch. The Jacksonville Jaguars are a team that even the diehard fans won’t play with in Madden20.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a team that I don’t look to back often in these simulations because they simply don’t have much going for them and are very limited on top rated players at key positions. The Tennessee Titans are strong in the trenches and have a beast of a running back who can suck the life out of a game and lead his team to victory. The Titans are one of those teams that aren’t always sexy, but they stick to their game plan and can bully teams not able to match their energy.

I’ll lay the chalk with the Titans, as I have little to no confidence in the Jacksonville Jaguars.
