New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers – 6/1/20 Madden20 NFL Sim Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints meet Monday afternoon in a Madden20 NFL simulation game. 

The Green Bay Packers have three players ranked 90 or better overall in left tackle David Bakhtiari, wide receiver Davante Adams and defensive tackle Kenny Clark. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers comes in with an 89 rating overall, a 82 rating in acceleration and a 91 awareness rating. Of course, a lot of the Packers success comes down to quarterback play and as long as he takes care of the ball, they’ll give you a chance to win no matter who they play. The problem is the Packers have limited weapons outside of quarterback, so scoring can be limited at times and the ground game has been weak in past simulations. However, the Green Bay Packers have eight players with an awareness rating of at least 90, which is important in a computer simulation where you’re counting on guys to do their job correctly.

The New Orleans Saints have five players ranked 91 or better overall in quarterback Drew Brees, wide receiver Michael Thomas, defensive end Cameron Jordan and offensive linemen Ryan Ramczyk and Terron Armstead. As if a solid offensive line and game changers at quarterback and wide receiver wasn’t enough, the Saints also have an 89 overall at running back in Alvin Kamara who also has a 94 acceleration rating. The Saints are able to flip a game quickly and with Brees having a 98 awareness rating, he’s not going to be fooled by the defense often. The Saints also have one of the faster secondary’s in the game with Justin Hardee, Marshon Lattimore and Eli Apple all having speed and acceleration above 90 ratings, so you’re confident they won’t get beat deep often. The New Orleans Saints are easily one of the best teams to play with in Madden 20.

The Green Bay Packers with their quarterback in the underdog role is always intriguing, but the New Orleans Saints are head and shoulders the better team and possibly the best team in the game overall when you consider the top tier talent on both sides of the ball. The Green Bay Packers also have issues in this game on the defensive side of the ball and can get run on a lot. That’s not good with the amount of offensive weapons the Saints have in their toolbox.
