The Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks meet in a Madden 20 simulation game on Wednesday night.

The Dallas Cowboys will look to build off of a 38-22 win over Baltimore in their last sim appearance. Ezekiel Elliott leads Dallas’ offense, rated 93 overall at starting RB with 90 speed, 91 acceleration and 95 agility while Amari Cooper leads the Cowboys’ receiving group at 91 overall with 92 speed, 96 agility and 89 catching. Dak Prescott has an 81 overall rating center at starting quarterback with 87 thiteming power and 88 short pass accuracy. The Cowboys also have some beef on their offensive line, with Zack Martin boasting a team-high 97 overall rating while Tyron Smith is at left tackle at 91 overall. On the defensive side, Byron Jones and Demarcus Lawrence lead the Cowboys’ D, each at 88 overall apiece, with Lawrence owning a 93 finesse move rating, 89 power move and 88 block shedding rating while Jones has 92 speed, 94 acceleration and 96 agility to go along with an 84 man coverage rating and 90 zone coverage rating in the Dallas secondary.

The Seattle Seahawks will try to build on a 37-24 win over Seattle in their last sim appearance. Russell Wilson leads the offense for Seattle with a solid 97 overall rating with 86 speed, 90 acceleration and 93 agility as well as 91 thiteming power and 93 short pass accuracy, 94 medium pass accuracy and 96 deep pass accuracy. Tyler Lockett is the #1 WR for Seattle with an 88 overall rating including 93 catching, 93 speed, 92 acceleration and 97 agility while Chris Carson also has an 86 rating in leading Seattle’s backfield with 88 speed, 89 acceleration and 91 stiff arm. On the defensive end, Bobby Wagner is the Seahawks’ top-rated defender with a 98 overall rating, with 96 tackling, 90 impact blocking, 98 power, as well as high-90s attribute ratings in pursuit and play recognition. Jadeveon Clowney is right behind on the D-line at 88 overall with 95 pursuit, 91 play recognition, 87 speed and 90 acceleration.

I’ve gone back and forth on this game, as the Cowboys have shown offensive dominance but they’ve also had clunkers, while the same can be said for Seattle, who haven’t been the same strong sim team that we saw from the very beginning. Instead, I’m going to side with the over as both teams can score and I could easily see both teams in the high 20s if not the 30s, so I’ll take the over in what should be an exciting sim game.
