Washington Redskins vs. Arizona Cardinals – 5/26/20 Madden 20 Sim NFL Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Arizona Cardinals and the Washington Redskins meet in a Madden 20 NFL Sim Classic matchup on Tuesday afternoon. 

The Arizona Cardinals come into this one looking to build off of a 17-12 win over Detroit in their last game. Larry Fitzgerald leads the Cardinals on offense at 83 overall at wide receiver with a 93 catch rating and 91 catching in traffic while Kenyan Drake sits at 81 overall in Arizona’s backfield with 91 speed, 89 acceleration, 90 agility and 87 carrying ratings. Kyler Murray is Arizona’s starting QB at 75 overall with 91 speed, 92 acceleration and 90 agility as well as 89 thiteming power. On the defensive side, Chandler Jones leads the Cardinals with a 90 overall rating, including 92 power move and an 86 tackle rating while Patrick Peterson is at 92 overall with 92 speed, 92 acceleration, 95 agility and 89 man coverage at CB.

The Washington Redskins come into this one after a frustrating performance in the Sim Classic, finishing with a 1-2 record and losing out on a tiebreaker to make it to the playoff rounds. The Redskins’ greatest asset is their O-line, with Trent Williams leading the way with a 92 overall rating including 95 strength, 92 pass block and 93 run block while Brandon Scherff is 88 overall with 90 run blocking and 92 strength. Jordan Reed leads Washington as their top pass-catcher at 84 overall with 87 catching and 87 catching in traffic at tight end while Terry McLaurin is at 81 overall at wide receiver and Derrius Guice leads Washington’s backfield at 80 overall, sharing the ball carrying work with Adrian Peterson who is rated at a 79 overall. Dwayne Haskins Jr. is the starting quarterback for Washington despite being rated at just 70 overall. On defense, Matt Ioannidis leads the unit with an 85 overall rating with 86 acceleration and 86 strength to go along with 84 tackling and 89 power moves while Ryan Kerrigan is at 84 overall at outside linebacker with 88 power move, 88 impact blocking and 86 acceleration.

Points with Washington are tempting as the Redskins have had some decent performances lately, but the problem is that those performances are inconsistent as we saw the Redskins (computer) blow a chance to go to the playoff rounds of the Sim Classic by losing to the lowly Giants. Arizona has done nothing but compete in these sim games as they hang around against the better teams and beat the lower teams they should beat for the most part. I’ll lay the points with Arizona here.
