Washington is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog while the under is 9-1 in their last 10 games against a team with a winning record. The underdog is 5-0-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings between these two teams.
I get Tampa Bay being favored, coming in on a four-game winning streak and having a far better record than Washington who barely got in on the last day of the season. However, Washington also won five of their last seven games to finish the season and the two teams since 2010 to make the playoffs with a record below .500 both won their wild card game outright when Seattle went Beast Mode to beat New Orleans in 2010 and Carolina beat a injury-riddled Cardinals team in 2014. I’m not sure Washington wins outright here, but we’re getting a free touchdowns plus with Washington, a team that’s got just as much of a chance with their defense as Tampa Bay does with theirs. Give me Washington and the points in this spot.
